The Old Mill Syrupwafers

Baked according to the original Gouda recipe from 1810.

Probably the most famous Dutch cookie there is: the stroopwafel!

Around 1810, the stroopwafel was invented in the city of Gouda, where bakery Kamphuisen first created this beloved Dutch treat. Since then, the secret recipe has been passed down from generation to generation.

Today, our The Old Mill Stroopwafels are still made using this original and carefully kept recipe.

How to enjoy the stroopwafel

In the Netherlands, we love to enjoy a stroopwafel with a warm cup of coffee or tea. Simply place the waffle on top of your mug and let it warm gently for a few minutes. The result: a warm, soft waffle with deliciously gooey syrup inside.

Our The Old Mill Stroopwafels are not only a joy to taste, but also a delight to give. With their stylish and traditional Delftblue packaging, they make the perfect Dutch gift, or just a sweet treat for yourself.
